If I don’t write to empty my mind, I go mad. As to that regular, uninterrupted love of writing. I do not understand it. I feel it as a torture, which I must get rid of, but never as a pleasure. On the contrary, I think composition a great pain.
Lord Byron
For many, blogging is the act of emptying the mind, of freeing the thoughts caged within.
Byron saw it as a torture, the pulling of words out of the brain, but contrast that with the impatience he had to get the words out.
Blogging relieves the pressure of the thoughts torturing you, and blogging in a pain in the ass.
That’s the truth.
“Blogging relieves the pressure of the thoughts torturing you, and blogging in a pain in the ass.”
I’m totally putting this on my wall. So very true.
